X's community notes roasted Ravens with a brutal one-liner after Isaiah Likely's overturned touchdown.
The Ravens were defeated by the Chiefs with a final score of 27-20.
The Ravens' social media post about Isaiah Likely's overturned touchdown went viral on social media after being criticized by X's community notes following Thursday night's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
In the AFC Championship game rematch, the Ravens sought revenge, but by the end of the fourth quarter, Baltimore trailed by one score.
In the final drive of the game, Lamar Jackson scored a touchdown with Isaiah Likely in the back of the end zone, but the game was not tied until referee Shawn Hochuli reviewed the play.
Likely was out of bounds by a toe.
The Ravens social media team had already posted the play on social media before it was released.
NBC is the place to be for the touchdown!
The community notes on X, which are intended for verifying and providing context to posts, appeared at that time.
"No, it wasn’t," the note read.
The Chiefs' first victory of the season was due to an out-of-bounds play, as they started their quest for the NFL's first three-peat.
"Definitely nerve-wracking because it looked good from my angle on the sideline," quarterback Patrick Mahomes said, "but then the first view you could see his cleat. ... You have to wear white cleats next time. That's my advice for him."
The Ravens, naturally, disagreed.
"I believed it was a touchdown," Jackson stated. "I still maintain it was a touchdown."
