The Cowboys' home opener was ruined by the Saints, with Alvin Kamara scoring four touchdowns in a dominating victory.
In the win, another deep touchdown was found by Derek Carr with Rashid Shaheed.
Despite the Saints scoring 47 points against the Carolina Panthers at home last week, some dismissed it as an easy victory because the Panthers are considered a weak team.
The Saints are proving to be authentic this season, as they scored 44 points against the Dallas Cowboys in their second victory of the year, 44-19.
The Cowboys moved to 1-1 after defeating the Cleveland Browns in Week 1.
Last week, at home against Carolina, Derek Carr and the Saints' offense turned their big plays into touchdowns, with veteran running back Alvin Kamara receiving one of them in a four-touchdown game on the road.
Rashid Shaheed scored a 70-yard touchdown on the team's second drive, while Kamara got his first touchdown on the first drive with a five-yard run that made it 7-0.
On the first two Saints drives, Carr didn't stop after scoring a touchdown, as he targeted Kamara with a screen play and created space for the running back.
Kamara dashed through the Dallas defense and sprinted into the end zone for a 57-yard touchdown – his second of the day.
The Saints scored again on their next drive, making it four in a row, as Kamara ran it in from 12 yards out, resulting in a 28-13 lead over the Cowboys.
The interception thrown by Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott on Dallas' 20-yard line, which was returned 47 yards by Paulson Adebo, put the game out of reach. Three plays later, Carr scored a touchdown, making it a 35-13 lead.
On the Saints' first drive of the second half, Kamara aimed to score four touchdowns, resulting in a 13-play, 70-yard journey that consumed 7:56 of the play clock.
In the game, the Cowboys were unable to recover and ultimately benched Prescott in the fourth quarter to prevent any further injuries.
Prescott ended the day with 293 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions thrown.
Despite needing to throw the ball only 16 times, Carr's 11 completions resulted in 243 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception.
In the game, Kamara led with 115 rushing yards on 20 carries, and his two catches totaled 65 yards. Meanwhile, Shaheed was the top performer in the pass game for New Orleans, and Chris Olave also had four catches for 81 yards.
While the Cowboys were limited to 68 yards on 21 ground carries, Lamb had 90 yards on just four catches. Additionally, Jalen Tolbert contributed six catches for 82 yards for Dallas.
