Colorado State QB: 'You can't f--- with me'
The Buffs received some valuable bulletin board material from Rams' Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi before the game.
On Saturday night, the Colorado Buffaloes, led by quarterback Sedeur Sanders, defeated their in-state rival Colorado State Rams. Before the game, it was evident that the quarterback kept track of what his opponents were saying, as seen when he reacted differently upon the final whistle.
Some Rams coaches were seen shaking hands with Sanders when Colorado State quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi approached him to do the same.
Fowler-Nicolosi was quickly pulled away from Sanders, who began to argue with him.
"Fowler-Nicolosi walked away saying, "Keep talking," after Sanders told her, "You were talking s*** on Instagram. We handled our business. You can’t f--- with me.""
Before the game, Fowler-Nicolosi discussed last year's double overtime game against the Buffaloes, where Colorado was favored to win by 27.5 points.

Fowler-Nicolosi stated in an interview that the team had an overconfident attitude and believed the task would be easy, but they were quickly corrected when they saw the reports, which showed a score of 27.5 points. This incident demonstrates that the media hype and training can only take you so far.
"We'll determine the winner by matching 11 men against 11 men, and observing which team is more determined, based on their Instagram following."
The Instagram comment sparked a significant debate on social media, which was further fueled by Colorado State wide receiver Tony Horton.
"Deion Sanders may not be playing, but it's the players who are backing up what they say. The millions of followers and fans, as well as celebrities who joined their cause, all came here to play football."
Horton stated: "We should have killed those men. We're seeking revenge."
On Saturday night, Sanders and the Buffaloes demonstrated their skills as he threw for 310 yards with four touchdowns. Two of those touchdowns were scored by versatile two-way star Travis Hunter in the 28-7 victory.
During the game, Sanders made statements to Colorado State fans, indicating that he was there to demonstrate something following a poor loss to Nebraska the previous week.
Meanwhile, Fowler-Nicolosi threw for 209 yards with two interceptions.
Next week in Boulder, Baylor will be facing Sanders and the Buffaloes, with the aim of maintaining their momentum.
