An elderly woman was robbed outside an Orlando convenience store on Wednesday, and Florida authorities are looking for the man caught on camera committing the crime.
On Wednesday morning, a violent robbery occurred outside a store on Curry Ford Road, near the intersection of S. Goldenrod Road, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
The elderly woman, who was not identified, can be seen in surveillance footage attempting to enter her car with lottery winnings in hand.
FOX 35 Orlando reported that the woman won $200.
As the suspect, Diego Stalin Tavarez Fleury, approaches the woman from behind, he attempts to steal her winnings. However, a verbal altercation ensues.
A man exits the store and seems to instruct Fleury to depart.
The woman holds onto her winnings as Fleury drags her in the parking lot and ultimately steals the money from her.
The man attempts to retrieve the money for the woman, but Fleury pushes him and escapes. As of Wednesday evening, he has not been found.
The store employee disclosed to FOX 35 that Fleury frequently congregates near the building's entrance and has created issues in the past.
An arrest warrant has been issued by the Orange County Sheriff's Office for Fleury, who is accused of robbery, sudden snatching, and battery on a person aged 65 or older.
