The fire in Castaic, Los Angeles County, which began on Wednesday morning, has burned over 3,400 acres and remains uncontained at noon.
Amid a deadly wildfire season in California, firefighters have been fighting destructive Southern California blazes for weeks.
At least 11 lives and over 6,500 structures have been lost due to the ongoing Pacific Palisades fire, which started on Jan. 7.
The Hughes Fire is prompting immediate evacuation of residents in four regions, including Castaic Lake, Paradise Ranch, and the Ridge Route, according to Cal Fire.
"The immediate threat to life requires you to leave now. The area is legally closed to public access."
Residents living near Charlie Canyon, Sloan Canyon, Green Hill Drive, and Bitter Canyon are advised to evacuate but not mandated to do so.
It is advised for residents to check the CAL FIRE website to ascertain if evacuation is necessary.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department is actively battling the fire.
