A Democratic official was arrested for a DUI and made inappropriate comments about a male police officer, as shown in newly-released bodycam footage.

Commissioner Samantha Steele, 45, was arrested on Nov. 10 for driving under the influence of alcohol and found lying on the ground near two damaged parked vehicles.

A police report obtained by FOX 32 Chicago states that Steele, who appeared visibly drunk, admitted to striking a car and was found with an opened bottle of red wine on the floor of her car.

"The officer noted in the report that her eyes were red and glossy, and he smelled alcohol on her breath while she spoke."

The police report stated that the intoxicated official made inappropriate comments about a male officer by repeatedly asking him, "Is your penis that small?" during her arrest, but the censored bodycam footage did not capture this interaction.

The CPD footage, obtained by FOX 32, shows an officer meeting Steele after the accident and requesting her license and registration, which she refuses to share.

Steele refuses to get out of her car despite multiple officers asking her to do so, and the footage shows her flaunting her status as a government official.

"If you don't leave the car, I'll assist you in exiting," a cop is heard saying. "And you don't want that."

""I am an elected official," Steele stated."

Steele engaged in a back-and-forth with the officers and later called her attorney. At another point, she informed an officer, "As an elected official, I do not wish for this to happen."

The official was on the phone with her lawyer when the officer requested her to take a final sobriety test.

The officer inquired, "Are you going to perform field sobriety tests, or not?" after informing the attorney that he was on the phone.

Steele was forcibly handcuffed by the police despite her objections.

"She refused to take a field sobriety test and smelled of alcohol, indicating she had been drinking. An officer recorded the incident."
