A video of a black bear sniffing around a garage at night was shared on Facebook by homeowner Bryce Hoven on Sunday.
The bear cautiously retrieves a trash can and backs away from it, ensuring not to disturb anything in the garage. The animal appears to be scanning the surroundings for any observers.
According to Hoven, the bear carried the trash can for a considerable distance before leaving it behind.
The resident from Saraland, Alabama, stated that the bear dragged the can another 20 feet out of the carport and dumped it over.
Hoven added that the bear rummaged through the garbage and selected his meal.
In Mobile County, where the Alabaman resides, bear sightings are common, but the footage he saw was unlike anything he had ever experienced before.
Hoven said that the bears had never taken the trash like the bear did the other day.
Several people left amused comments on the video that Facebook users seemed to enjoy.
