Two teenagers are killed and others are injured in a shooting at a pop-up party in Houston, according to police.
As police continue investigating, no information on the suspect is currently available.
According to police, a shooting in Houston, Texas on Saturday evening resulted in the deaths of two teenagers and injuries to three others.
At approximately 11:20 p.m. on Saturday night, Houston Police were called to a shooting that occurred at a pop-up party in a makeshift club located in the 10100 block of Jensen Drive, according to Assistant Police Chief Luis Menendez-Sierra during a press conference.
A large group of people were found fleeing from the makeshift club when officers arrived on the scene.
Several victims at the scene were suffering from gunshot wounds, and the officers attended to them.
At the scene, a 16-year-old boy was declared dead, while a 16-year-old girl was transported to a hospital and later succumbed to her injuries.
A 13-year-old girl is in critical condition at a hospital, while a 19-year-old woman who police said is in non-critical condition checked herself into the hospital. The age and condition of the other wounded victim are unknown.
At present, the police do not have any information on the suspect who escaped, nor do they have a suspect vehicle. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
