Trump was quickly surrounded by Secret Service agents following the gunshots.
Sean Hannity, host of Hannity, talks about the latest news and ongoing investigation regarding gunshots in the area where former President Trump resides.
On Sunday, Sean Hannity of Planet Chronicle Channel interviewed former President Trump following an apparent assassination attempt in Florida. Hannity shared grim details about what may have been the second attempt on Trump's life in just two months.
Trump and Miami real estate developer Steven Witkoff were on the fifth hole at about 1:30 p.m. when shots rang out at the Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach, and Hannity joined fellow hosts Eric Shawn and Arthel Neville to share this information with viewers.
Hannity stated that the Secret Service quickly apprehended the president and shielded him within seconds. He explained that the snipers were positioned with tripods and knew the exact location of the shots. Additionally, they had surveillance cameras to monitor the area where the shots were fired. Afterward, the Secret Service escorted the president to the clubhouse.
Secret Service agents fired the shots, suspect had an AK-47 and fled in a black Nissan, and was later arrested.
An assassination attempt on Trump occurred two months ago during a campaign rally in Butler, Pa., and on Sunday, there was a shooting.
Trump's main concern upon reaching the clubhouse was to ensure everyone was okay, and he joked about regretting not completing the hole he was in.
"At present, there are limited details available. However, I believe we will receive more information from the Secret Service soon. According to Hannity, there were at least 30 to 50 sheriffs' deputies and West Palm Beach police present. They responded promptly to the incident. I personally witnessed the heavy police presence in the area while driving past Mar-a-Lago."
The shooting occurred about seven weeks before Election Day.
This weekend, Trump returned to Florida from a West Coast trip that included a Friday night rally in Las Vegas and a Utah fundraiser.
