Linda Adams Cartee, a 58-year-old woman, was arrested by authorities on 88 outstanding warrants from 2006 and 2007 for allegedly writing "worthless checks."
The Morgan County Sheriff's Office arrested Cartee of Trinity on warrants on Tuesday morning.
The Decatur Metropolitan area is home to Trinity, which is approximately 40 miles away from Huntsville.
A tip about a wanted subject was received by the Fugitive Unit of the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, according to officials who spoke to Planet Chronicle Digital.
Officials from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office stated that among the warrants were 39 charges of writing a bad check and 49 charges of not showing up for a bad check.
Cartee was taken into custody and is currently being detained in the Morgan County Jail with a bond of $133,900.
