President Trump is scheduled to hold an outdoor rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he was previously assassinated in July.
The campaign announced that President Donald J. Trump will return to the same location in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he nearly lost his life three months ago to hold a rally.
The presidential candidate of the Republican party will give a speech on October 5th at the Butler Farm Show fairgrounds, which is located in a suburb near Pittsburgh.
At a rally in Mint Hill, North Carolina on Wednesday, Trump expressed his desire to return to the venue to complete his speech.
"We're going back to Butler to finish our speech," he said. "As you know, there have been two assassination attempts on my life that we know of."
At the rally, Trump's campaign stated that the ex-president would pay tribute to those killed in the assassination attempt.
Corey Comperatore, 50, was a firefighter and a father of two daughters. He "historically put his life on the line to protect his wife and daughters" during the assassination attempt against Trump, the campaign stated.
The shooter also injured two other Americans, David Dutch and James Copenhaver, and Trump will recognize them.
The campaign stated that he would express his deep gratitude to law enforcement and first responders, and thank the entire community for their outpouring of love and support following the attack.
The Trump campaign stated that the president's visit to the site of his first assassination attempt was a "tribute to the American spirit."

Trump's campaign stated that he is "more resolute than ever" after the two assassination attempts in the past nine weeks, one in Butler, Pennsylvania and the other at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
"On July 13th, he sacrificed his life for democracy, and on November 5th, he will protect it," they declared. "With the support of the incredible people of Pennsylvania and the citizens of our great nation, we will make America an even better place."
