The Love One Louisiana Foundation has received a donation from Fox Corp. to support the victims and families affected by the New Orleans terror attack on New Year's Day.
The foundation offers aid and assistance for funeral expenses, hospital and medical bills, as well as recovery and rehabilitation costs for victims of the attack, which resulted in the death of at least 14 people and injuries to dozens more. Additionally, donations will help provide ongoing care and support for orphans and families, and counseling for those impacted by the attack.
The website offers a form for making one-time or monthly donations online, along with instructions on how to donate via check.
The Louisiana first lady, Sharon Landry, leads Love One Louisiana Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
"We, through Love One Louisiana Foundation, aim to offer unwavering support to those in need during difficult times," Landry stated in an Instagram post. "As a nation and the great state of Louisiana, we stand together in prayer and support for the victims and their families affected by the New Year's Day French Quarter terrorist attack. Let us come together and show our neighbors that we care by supporting them through this senseless tragedy."
