'Somebody knows something': Missing woman discovered dead after entering mysterious vehicle.
Last seen: Heather Williams in a sedan in Fayetteville, North Carolina at 10 p.m. on Jan. 4
A 25-year-old woman, who had been missing for six days, was found dead by North Carolina authorities on Jan. 10.
On Jan. 4, Heather Williams disappeared after being last seen getting into a light-colored, four-door sedan at around 10 p.m. near Berkshire Road, as per the Fayetteville Police Department.
On January 10, 2025, Fayetteville Police Department Detectives discovered a deceased individual in a wooded area near Newark Ave and State Ave during a follow-up investigation of a missing and endangered person.
The Homicide Unit of the FPD is investigating the woman who was identified as Williams.
As of Tuesday, FPD has no new updates on the homicide case, but officials will provide more information as their investigation progresses.

Heather Williams' sister, Mary, stated that her sister's situation was dangerous when she was out alone at nighttime.
Police said Williams had a cognitive impairment.
"Mary Williams, in an interview with WRAL, stated that she hopes people will come forward with information if they hear or see anything related to Heather's case. She emphasized that someone must know something, and she prays that the person who does will come forward to bring justice to Heather."
Mary Williams stated that her sister was devoted to her family, loved Jesus, and worked diligently.
