On Dec. 19, six men from the same Georgia family paving company were accused of inciting a fight with a rival paving company, as stated in police records.

Several family members working for EH Paving in Monroe County have been allegedly assaulted by Mark Buckland Sr., Mark Buckland Jr., Willy Buckland Sr., Willy Buckland Jr., Luke Buckland, and James Small, according to records.

The sheriff of Monroe County, Brad Freeman, stated that the incident was reminiscent of a scene from "The Sopranos" TV series.

On Dec. 19 at approximately 1 p.m., while working for EH Paving, six members of the Buckhead family, who are employees of a rival paving company in Bolingbroke, arrived at the customer's driveway in Bolingbroke and attacked the victims with baseball bats, sticks, and other weapons, according to an incident report obtained by Planet Chronicle Digital.

A "large fight" involving "bats and guns" prompted the arrival of deputies.

According to the incident report, Mark William Buckland Sr., 50, attempted to strike his son, Willy Buckland Jr., 22, over the head with a bat. Buckland Sr.'s 21-year-old son-in-law, Small, and Buckland Sr.'s other son, Luke Buckland, 28, allegedly attacked the owner's son and nephew, respectively.

The owner of EH Paving claims that the Buckland family attacked his family while they were working on a paving job near one of their properties. The Bucklands felt that the job was disrespectful, and the owner alleges that Mark Buckland Sr. pointed a "cowboy-style" gun at him.
