NJ drones not owned by US military research center.
New Jersey mystery drones not linked to military research center.
The New Jersey military research center's base commander confirmed to a local media outlet that the mysterious drones flying over the area are not theirs.
Lt. Col. Craig Bonham II stated in a news release that the aircraft operating in our area are not related to any Picatinny Arsenal activities, despite the unknown source and cause.
Since Nov. 13, Picatinny has recorded 11 confirmed sightings of UFOs overhead, but seven other reports either could not be confirmed or were later identified as airplanes, according to Bonham.
Recently, there has been an increase in reports of large drones flying over various locations in New Jersey, including President-elect Trump's golf course in Bedminster and nearby military research sites.
Reports of drone activity were first received by the Federal Aviation Administration on November 18 in Morris County, which is close to Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in Somerset County. The drones have been sighted nightly in certain areas and are sometimes reported flying in groups, according to Patch.
On Sunday alone, dozens of drone sightings were reported on Monday, as announced by Gov. Phil Murphy.
On Tuesday, Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary, stated that the drones flying over New Jersey were not foreign. President Biden has been informed about the situation, and the DHS and FBI are currently investigating.
Jean-Pierre responded with a "Yeah" when asked if the federal government had ruled out foreign control of drones.
Officials have stated that they are taking the mystery drone sightings seriously, and Governor Phil Murphy of New Jersey posted on X on Thursday that there was no known threat to the public at that time.
More recently, drone sightings were also reported on Staten Island.
