Mexican-American daughter testifies to Congress about her shame over the Biden-Harris administration's border policy.
April Aguirre claims that the Biden-Harris border policies are tarnishing the reputation of "good migrants."
On Tuesday, a daughter of Mexican immigrants spoke at a House hearing about the Biden-Harris border crisis, advocating for an 11-year-old girl who was allegedly raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant, and how the Democrats' policies are tarnishing the reputation of "good migrants."
The House Judiciary Committee heard from April Aguirre, a crime victims' advocate, and the mothers of children they claim were killed due to President Biden and Vice President Harris' border policies.
Aguirre, a daughter of immigrant parents, expressed shame towards the Biden-Harris administration for allowing criminals to enter the country through open borders.
Maria Gonzalez, an 11-year-old migrant living in Houston with her father, was killed by an illegal immigrant from Guatemala who entered her home and stuffed her body under her father's bed in a plastic bag in a laundry basket. Aguirre spoke on her behalf.
Aguirre informed the committee that Maria was so badly bruised that he had to purchase a funeral dress for her to cover the harm inflicted by that man. Additionally, Maria lost fingernails during her struggle, and she is a migrant child.
""Imagine them trying to fight off a grown man while being undressed, beaten, and smothered. The shock of being attacked, the pain of being violated, and the fear of being used to satisfy a predator's sick and demented desires. Our girls deserve protection, to live their lives without fear, and to perish in a natural manner of old age," Aguirre told the committee."
The Biden-Harris administration's policies are criticized by Aguirre for ignoring the "monsters" that illegally cross the border, thereby tarnishing the reputation of all good migrants.
"Aguirre stated, "We're not checking immigrants at the border, which is why everything is being let through, and you're treating both citizens and immigrants unfairly.""
Aguirre refuted Rep. Escobar's claim that he and the families of other victims were being exploited by Republicans, calling it an "insulting" assumption.
"Aguirre responded to Escobar by stating that the broad statements made were insulting to those who had lost loved ones and children, and they wanted to see a change. Aguirre added that although they may not fully comprehend the situation, they were not being used in any way."
The Biden-Harris administration has allowed 10 million individuals to enter the country in just three and a half years, with 99 of them being on the terrorist watch list, according to House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.
The testimony from the mothers and family members who spoke at the hearing will help emphasize the "actual expense" of illegal immigration in communities across the country, according to Jordan.
