In Boulder, it's illegal to keep upholstered furniture outside.

It is illegal to possess upholstered furniture not designed for outdoor use in any front, side, or backyard, as per Boulder General Offenses under Title 5, Chapter 4, 5-4-16.

Upholstered furniture under the law includes couches, chairs and mattresses.

If furniture is placed outside during a move or on a trash day when it is scheduled for pickup, it is not a violation of the law.

Additionally, furniture that is placed outside for selling is OK.

In Colorado, buying a car on a Sunday is not possible.

According to Colorado Revised Statute § 12-6-302, it is illegal to operate a place or premises for the purpose of selling, bartering, or exchanging motor vehicles on Sundays.

On Sunday, you can buy auto accessories or get your vehicle fixed, as those businesses are allowed to remain open.

In Pueblo, Colorado, residents are required to manage their weeds.

Dandelions are often blown by people, with the hope that their wishes will come true.

According to Section 7-4-2 of Pueblo Colorado's Code of Ordinances, it is illegal for landowners to allow weeds taller than ten (10) inches to grow, lie, or be located on their land. Additionally, it is illegal for landowners not to cut, destroy, or remove weeds that exceed ten (10) inches in height from their land.

Besides Canada thistle, Russian thistle, redroot pigweed, and common ragweed, other weeds are also covered by this law.

The law states that this list is not meant to be exhaustive but rather to indicate the types of plants that are considered harmful to public health and safety, excluding flower gardens, shrubbery plots, vegetable gardens, and small grain plots (wheat, barley, oats, and rye).

Be cautious before letting the snowball you've made in Aspen fly.

The City of Aspen Municipal Code Sec. 15.04.210 addresses throwing snowballs.

According to the law, it is illegal for anyone to throw any missile or discharge any weapon upon or at any vehicle, building, or public or private property, or upon or at any person in any public way or place.
