In the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, a homeowner stabbed a 20s-old suspect who broke into his home at night this week, according to the LAPD's confirmation to Planet Chronicle Digital.
The intruder, who rammed his way through the front door at 4 a.m. in Winnetka, was initially confronted by the homeowner's daughter. Later, he got into a fight with the homeowner, who stabbed the intruder in the stomach, according to police.
Soon after leaving a trail of blood from the house, the suspect was found by police not far from the house.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was arrested and taken to a hospital, where he is in stable condition, according to police.
According to a neighbor, the suspect attempted to enter her home in addition to the break-in at her own residence, as reported by FOX 11.

"At night, someone was on my property and walking on my roof. My neighbor was aware and called me. My phone was on silent, so I didn't hear, but she was alone and needed help. I went out and she was very scared."
