Four days after clocking in at work, a Wells Fargo employee was discovered dead.
Security personnel alerted police officers to an incident at the office.
An employee of Wells Fargo passed away last week, four days after starting work in Tempe, Arizona.
On August 20, security personnel on-site at Priest Drive and Washington Street called the police, reporting that an employee was believed to be deceased.
The employee was identified as Denise Prudhomme, 60.
Police said she was pronounced dead just before 5 p.m.
Prudhomme scanned into the building on Aug. 16 at 7 a.m., but there were no subsequent scans from him.
The cause of death of Prudhomme is being investigated by a medical examiner's office. No signs of foul play have been disclosed by the police.
Denise Prudhomme's loss has deeply saddened Wells Fargo, as stated by the company to Planet Chronicle Digital.
"The company stated that their thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the affected individual, and they are in touch to ensure their well-being during this challenging time. Additionally, the company is dedicated to the safety and wellness of their employees and is reviewing their internal protocols following this event. Counselors are available to assist any employees who may be impacted by this occurrence."
