A day before a Brazilian airliner crashed and killed all 62 people on board, an incident occurred.
Last week, four American Airlines flight attendants sustained injuries due to turbulence, the airline announced on Monday.
The airline informed Planet Chronicle Digital that the crew members were on flight 2905, which left Tampa International Airport in Florida on Aug. 8 and arrived at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina.
The four flight attendants were taken to a hospital for further evaluation, American Airlines stated, without disclosing the extent of their injuries.
None of the 154 passengers were harmed.
"American Airlines flight 2905 safely landed at Charlotte (CLT) after experiencing unexpected turbulence, a spokesperson for the airline stated to Planet Chronicle Digital. The airline thanked its crew members for their professionalism and its customers for their understanding."
A Brazilian airliner crashed and killed all 62 people on board a day before the incident. The ATR 72 twin-engine turboprop crashed into a residential area in the city of Vinhedo.
