Five individuals discovered deceased in Minnesota are believed to have been victims of a murder-suicide, according to police reports.

On Thursday at approximately 2:10 p.m., five people were found dead in two separate homes in West Duluth, Minnesota, prompting an active investigation by the local police.
In the 6000 block of Tacony Street, a welfare check call led Duluth Police to discover a 47-year-old woman and a juvenile deceased inside.
A suspect was identified after an investigation in a residence on West 6th Street in the 4400 block.
In the home, police discovered a 45-year-old female, a juvenile, and the suspect, a 46-year-old male, all deceased from gunshot wounds. The suspect's death was self-inflicted, according to police officials.
The police suspect that the victims are acquainted with one another, but have not disclosed their identities until the notification of next of kin.
"The families and loved ones of the victims in the tragic event are in our thoughts and prayers, as the investigation into the incident continues. A press conference is scheduled for tomorrow, and further details will be shared at a later time."
