FBI identifies Texas man as suspect in child sexual abuse videos through social media and tattoos.
John Doe 49, originally listed on the FBI's most wanted list, was arrested as Christopher Lynn Driskill, 48, on November 26.
Federal prosecutors announced on Tuesday that a Texas man has been charged with allegedly creating child pornography.
John Doe 49, who was originally listed on the FBI's most wanted list as Christopher Lynn Driskill, 48, is believed to have produced child pornography from 2017 to 2024, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas.
On November 26th, Driskill was arrested and charged with production of child pornography after FBI agents identified him on November 18th.
In July 2024, the FBI's Victim Identification Program received a referral regarding child sexual abuse material posted on the dark web. The videos depicted a male sexually assaulting a prepubescent male, and several tattoos were visible, including "DABBY" on his chest, "197x" on his left bicep, "CAST NO STONES" on his left forearm, and a Texas flag in the shape of a head on his right forearm.
In September 2024, a former dating partner of Driskill reported to the Coleman Police Department that he had confessed to molesting a child and recording it. The officers were able to meet with the child, who did not make an outcry.
Driskill denied the allegations during an on-camera interview, stating that his former partner was upset over a breakup. Due to the lack of other evidence, the case was closed.
The police officials in the recorded interview observed that the tattoos "CAST NO STONES" on his left forearm, a 1975 tattoo on his left bicep, and a Texas flag in the shape of a head on his right forearm were visible.
The FBI uploaded still images from the interview to a database.
The FBI successfully matched tattoos from social media with those seen in the assault video. Additionally, they noted that the profile picture resembled the images of the suspect in child sexual abuse material.
They traced the account back to Driskill, who resided in Coleman, Texas with his parents.
The FBI investigation into a possible molestation was also brought to the attention of the Coleman Police Department, who compared the footage of their interview with the suspect's face and tattoos.
If convicted, Driskill faces up to 30 years in federal prison.
