Family reports 'very suspicious' disappearance of woman during Thanksgiving shopping trip.
Before Thanksgiving, a shopping trip to Silverthorne, Colorado resulted in Jayna Lang's disappearance.
On Nov. 24, a Colorado woman went shopping and did not return, causing concern among her family.
According to Denver7, Jayna Lang last communicated with her family on Sunday, informing them that she was heading to an outlet mall in Silverthorne for shopping.
Eric Horvat, Lang's brother, revealed that she was supposed to visit Silverthorne's factory shops on Sunday but didn't show up for work from Monday to Wednesday. Since then, nobody has heard from or talked to her. Lang works at a pet grooming business.
"My aunt and I talk every couple of days, but she talks to her every single day. If she doesn't hear from her for a long time, it's very suspicious."
On November 27, the Park County Sheriff's Office confirmed the disappearance of Lang and issued a be-on-the-look (BOLO) alert for her.
"The sheriff's office posted on Facebook that "She was last seen on Sunday the 24th in Littleton and was headed to Summit County. She frequently visited Park County, particularly the Indian Mountain subdivision. Photos of Lang and her white Toyota SUV were shared. If you have any information, please contact PCSO.""
On Sunday, Horvat observed that Lang's license plate reads "JAYNA" and urged anyone who spots her plate to contact 911.
Horvat wrote: "She is a missing person and the easiest way to be found is to alert the authorities! Thank you for your watchful eyes!"
Stacy Liang-Horvat, Lang's sister-in-law, shared on Facebook that her family received some "not good news regarding" Lang on Sunday evening.
"We want to express our gratitude and appreciation to everyone across the country for their love and prayers during this difficult period."
