Dozens of suspects are being sought by the sheriff's office following a fiery chaos at a Florida intersection.
Video of violence at busy intersection shared by Orange County SO.
In central Florida, a sheriff's office is looking for 30 individuals involved in an "intersection takeover" that caused fear among drivers and resulted in car damage.
On Nov. 30, the Orange County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) announced on Facebook that the intersection of South John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway was shut down by the mob.
Before harassing innocent drivers, a large group set a fire in the roadway and used the space for cars to do donuts around the flames.
In the footage shared by the sheriff's office, someone is heard shouting, "There's a baby in the car!"
The OCSO stated that the suspects in some cases climbed on and damaged vehicles, which poses a serious danger to the community. The law enforcement agency is committed to holding those responsible accountable for their reckless and violent behavior.
According to an affidavit obtained by the Miami Herald, a Tesla driver reported that his car sustained $60,000 in damage after "dozens of people jumped on top of his vehicle and began to kick his vehicle windshield, causing it to break."
While some suspects attempted to hide their identities, others openly recorded the action with their cell phones.
Dave Nutting, a law enforcement specialist and retired deputy with the sheriff's office, expressed his sympathy for the individuals who were caught up in the mess while trying to go about their daily lives, as he spoke to FOX 35 Orlando.
No arrests or injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.
If anyone recognizes any of the 30 people whose faces were shared in the video, they should contact Crimeline at 800-423-8477. People who share information with the hotline may remain anonymous.
