Delta stowaway caught attempting to enter Canada illegally.
Ankle monitor found, Dali discovered.
A woman who was accused of hiding on a flight from New York to Paris was arrested again after attempting to cross the border into Canada by taking a Greyhound bus to Buffalo, according to reports.
At the U.S.-Canada border, Canadian authorities caught Svetlana Dali, 57, who had allegedly taken the bus.
On Sunday, Dali, who is set to appear in court today, removed her ankle monitor, according to ABC News, citing law enforcement sources.
An ankle bracelet was discovered by the person she was staying with, who subsequently reported her to authorities.
Earlier in December, during a bail hearing, Assistant U.S. Attorney Brooke Theodora voiced worries that Dali may attempt to escape while awaiting trial.
On November 26, Dali made headlines in the country when she successfully boarded Delta Flight 264 to Paris without proper travel documents, bypassing TSA checkpoints.
At the Dec. 6 hearing, prosecutors claimed that she made several attempts to enter restricted zones at various U.S. airports in an effort to fly without a ticket.
Dali has since been said to be in FBI custody.
