College student's murder investigation focuses on Sugar Daddy suspect.

A suspect in the murder of a 21-year-old nursing student was found by Texas authorities after a tipster recognized the accused killer from his profile on a "Sugar Daddy" website.
On Monday, Aug. 26, in Houston, a Nepalese nursing student named Muna Pandey was discovered dead with gunshot wounds in her apartment.
On the evening of Saturday, Aug. 24, Pandey was last seen alive by friends and family, and a neighbor later reported hearing a "loud thump" coming from her apartment.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by People, an unknown male allegedly notified the building manager of a dead body in a unit, then hung up.
On the third day, Bobby Singh Shah, a 51-year-old man, was apprehended and accused of capital murder by the Houston Police Department.
According to the complaint, Pandey's security footage led police to Shah, who was later found to be the stalker of the young woman.
On Aug. 24, security footage reveals Pandey at her front door with shopping bags. A man, believed to be Shah, forces her into the apartment at gunpoint. An hour later, Shah is seen exiting the apartment with one of the bags.

The restaurant where Pandey used to work contacted the police after they saw the security footage, stating that the man in the footage resembled Shah, a regular customer at their establishment.
According to the complaint, on Aug. 28, a woman recognized the man in the footage as Shah from a "Sugar Daddy" website.
On Wednesday, Houston Police arrested Shah during a traffic stop. He is currently being held without bond, as per Harris County District Court records.

Wilvin Carter, Shah's defense attorney, informed KHOU 11 that he is thrilled to conclude the case so that Shah can demonstrate his innocence.
An online fundraising campaign has been launched to help cover the travel costs of Pandey's mother from Nepal to Houston and the funeral expenses for her only child.
"Such heartbreak should not be faced by any mother, especially from afar," states the fundraiser.
