An individual is accused of pushing past TSA security and boarding an Alaska Airlines flight with the intention of stealing the aircraft.
Claims were made that the suspect intended to fly an Alaska Airlines aircraft to Estonia due to the influence of 'bad people'.
An Alaska Airlines aircraft was accessed by a man who entered the cockpit of an Alaska Airlines aircraft at a Montana airport, according to authorities.
A spokesperson for Missoula International Airport confirmed to Planet Chronicle Digital that Justin Reed Seymour, 34, was arrested after evading capture and intruding through the TSA checkpoint on October 22.
According to KGVO, TSA officials shouted "Stop him!" and "breach, breach, breach!" as Seymour observed an Alaska Airlines Flight 697, a Boeing 737 aircraft.
According to court documents, Seymour pushed an airline employee to the ground and continued to the plane.
Allegedly, Seymour attacked two flight attendants while trying to board the plane.
One flight attendant was shoved into the cockpit door and another airline employee's fingers were crushed when the employee tried to secure the door with a deadbolt.
The Seymour was eventually caught by law enforcement officers, who said he had to get to Estonia, according to a local outlet.
He later informed police that he had been instructed to take the aircraft by "bad people."
Court documents reveal that Seymour later admitted to officers, "I thought I was going to be able to fly the plane, but I didn't."
A 34-year-old man was arrested for felony robbery and felony aggravated burglary and is currently being held at the Missoula County Detention Facility on a $500,000 bond.
The Federal Aviation Administration and Alaska Airlines were contacted by Planet Chronicle Digital for comment.
