A Texas father who was "devoted" to his family was fatally shot while driving home from work.
A man, who was the father of three, was shot and killed while driving home from work, according to police.
A man who was a father of three was killed while driving home from his job installing Christmas lights at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
At around 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, the Houston Police Department received a call about a vehicle crash on a busy interstate.
At the scene, authorities discovered the driver, identified as 37-year-old Robert Schorovsky, in a critical condition. According to police, he had been shot "at least once."
Brittany Ray, the wife of the victim, informed KHOU11 that they were all in shock after the incident. Despite the rough circumstances, only one gunshot was fired, with no holes in the truck or shattered windows.
On Nov. 4, Ben Taub General Hospital declared Schorovsky dead after he was transported there by the Houston Fire Department.
A 37-year-old man was a father to three kids, who were 9, 11, and 14 years old.
His obituary described him as family-oriented and a hard worker.
"Robbie cherished time with his family and created enduring memories. When not working, he could often be found fishing at the neighborhood pond to unwind. The kids fondly remember their adventures hiking, biking, and traveling with their father, which they will always treasure. Robbie was a diligent worker and took pride in his ability to fix anything, including his beloved white Chevy truck."
""Robbie was devoted to keeping his Brittany content and would even ride roller coasters with her, despite his dislike for them," it was stated."
Police said that there are no known witnesses or suspects.
