A Tennessee hairdresser threatened a client with scissors after demanding $30 payment: "Pay me now, b----"
Last week, a hair stylist was apprehended for reportedly making threatening gestures towards a client.
According to reports, a hairdresser from Tennessee is facing criminal charges for allegedly threatening a client with scissors over $30.
An incident report provided to Planet Chronicle Digital stated that the incident occurred in Memphis, Tennessee, on the evening of September 13, according to police.
At approximately 10:40 p.m., an officer was dispatched to 6870 Hillshire Dr. in response to a report of aggravated assault.
The responding officer observed that the business, "LUHV MY HAIR," did not have any visible signage. The victim was discovered in her car, but the suspect was absent at the scene.
The victim stated that she arrived at the hair salon for an appointment at 5 p.m. and paid the hairstylist $410 via the Zelle app.
The hairstylist accused the victim of owing an additional $30 from a "previous incident" four years before, as stated by the victim.
The suspect threatened the victim with a pair of scissors, shouting: "Pay me now, b----, or I'll use these scissors to harm you."
The suspect became hostile and threatened the victim, saying she would "take this s--- down," likely referring to her hair, prompting the victim to call 911, according to police.
The suspect grew increasingly furious, requesting an additional $50 and instructing the victim to exit the salon.
Mychelle Ray, a 31-year-old individual, was identified as the suspect in the police report provided to Planet Chronicle Digital, although the report did not name the suspect.
According to the station, Ray was released from the Shelby County Jail last Wednesday after being booked in on a $7,500 bond.
