A second woman from Florida has been detained in relation to the lethal shooting that was streamed live on Facebook.
Lauren Martin was murdered and Lakevia Pringle, 31, and her girlfriend, Savon Tyler, 35, are charged with first-degree premeditated murder.
A second woman has been charged by Florida police for a deadly shooting that was streamed live on Facebook.
On Friday, Sanford police arrested Lakevia Pringle, 31, for first-degree premeditated murder after she surrendered herself.
On Nov. 5, a 34-year-old woman was shot dead in a Facebook livestream that was recorded by someone who is now being accused.
On Tuesday, Savon Tyler, 35, Pringle's girlfriend, was arrested and charged with the same crime of fighting and killing Martin.
During the live streaming, Pringle urged Tyler to continue the argument, resulting in Lauren's murder, according to Sanford police on Facebook.
A police report, redacted and viewed by FOX 35 Orlando, indicates that a voice in a livestream instructed Tyler to "Fire her a-- up!"
The Seminole County State Attorney's office issued a warrant for Pringle's arrest after reviewing the video and other evidence. Additionally, Sanford police stated that Pringle did not cooperate with "numerous" attempts to interview her.
An ongoing argument led Martin to drive to Tyler's home, as determined by the police.
According to court records viewed by local outlet WESH, when Tyler saw Martin at her house, she was armed with a "children's miniature baseball bat" and a "9mm sky handgun."
A brief argument between two women in the middle of the street escalated into a fight, resulting in Martin being shot, according to the outlet's report.
Three children were left behind by Martin, as stated by his family on a GoFundMe account.
The fundraiser stated, "While we find solace in the knowledge that she is at rest, she leaves behind three lovely children. We are grieving this unfortunate loss while also adapting to a new way of life for her children."
Both Pringle and Tyler are in the Seminole County Jail with no bond.
