A Phoenix juvenile was apprehended following accusations of pointing a firearm at a school bus filled with students.
No bullets were discharged at the bus, according to the police.
On Tuesday, a young person was taken into custody in Phoenix, Arizona, after being accused of brandishing a firearm at a school bus filled with students, as per authorities.
Near 16th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, the incident occurred shortly after 8 a.m.
A school bus carrying students was targeted by a boy with a gun, prompting a response from the Phoenix Police.
According to Fox 10, Phoenix Police Sgt. Brian Bower stated that officers arrived and discovered that a juvenile male suspect was involved in an argument with a student on a bus. After the victim entered the bus to exit, the suspect displayed a handgun and aimed it at the school bus.
No shots were fired at the bus, Bower said.
The suspect was found inside an apartment near the scene of the incident, prompting a lockdown at a nearby school, according to Fox 10.
A suspect, who has not been identified, was arrested.
The school resumed normal operations following the arrest.
