A Philadelphia couple was involved in sexual activity before their car accidentally rolled into the Schuylkill River, according to police.

On Wednesday in Philadelphia, a man and woman were caught off guard when their vehicle, in which they were having sex, rolled into the Schuylkill River, as reported by police.
At approximately 4:45 a.m., the Philadelphia Police Department received reports of a vehicle parked on Kelly Drive that had rolled into the river near the Columbia Bridge.
In Philadelphia, FOX 29 reported that police claim a man and woman were having sex in the backseat of a vehicle when the woman accidentally shifted gears and rolled into the water.
The sinking automobile did not result in any injuries as they were able to escape safely, police stated.
The vehicle, suspected to be a Land Rover or Range Rover, was retrieved from the water at approximately 9 a.m., as reported by the station.
In the past few weeks, a car has twice fallen into the river from Kelly Drive, with no one discovered in it during the previous incident.
