A Pennsylvania man is facing charges for allegedly raping multiple women he met through a dating website, including a teenager.
Pennsylvania authorities say that the victims of rape ranged in age from 17 to 30 years old.
A man from Pennsylvania was recently arrested and imprisoned for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting multiple women he met through a dating site, including a teenager.
Andrew Gallo, a Bristol Township resident, was accused of five counts of rape by causing impairment and six counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, as stated by the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
On Wednesday, the suspect was arrested by authorities and charged with four counts of strangulation, two counts of selling or furnishing liquor or malt or brewed beverage to minors, and one count of corruption of minors.
According to authorities, Gallo made contact with his victims through the website sugardaddymeet.com, using the usernames DREWSTER4200 and KAE.
"The sugardaddymeet.com website claims to be a platform for wealthy men and beautiful women seeking genuine relationships, according to the district attorney's office. However, after meeting the women on the site, Gallo would invite them to his home and brag about the impressive drinks he would prepare for them."
The women's drinks were reportedly spiked with controlled substances, including methamphetamine, by Gallo. The victims' ages varied from 17 to 30.
"The victims described feeling strange after consuming the drinks, not how they would typically feel after imbibing alcohol, and they also described feeling a lack of control during the sexual encounter and unable to stop anything Gallo wished to do."
"The victims reported side effects from the drugs, including staying up for days, hallucinations, and psychosis."
In August, a warrant was executed at Gallo's residence and a tequila bottle containing methamphetamine was discovered.
"During a Wednesday news conference, District Attorney Jennifer Schorn praised the victims in the case for their courage. She said, "The victims in this case are so courageous. They came forward to report crimes that predators like this assume the victims won’t have the strength to do so, and I commend them for their strength and courage.""
Bucks County Correctional Facility is currently housing Gallo. Planet Chronicle Digital contacted sugardaddymeet.com for further comment, but did not receive an immediate response.
