A Milwaukee man is charged with stealing from the same Walgreens store three different times.
Toilet paper, soaps, lotions, razors, and household cleaning items have been accused of being swiped by John Dzwonkowski, 38.
During a week, a Milwaukee man was charged with stealing cleaning and sanitary items, such as soaps, toilet paper, razors, lotions, and other household goods, from the same Walgreens store three times.
According to police records and Fox 6, John Dzwonkowski, 38, is now charged with two counts of felony retail theft.
On September 18th, a criminal complaint was filed against the Milwaukee Police Department, who were initially informed about the incident at a store located on Howell Avenue.
The store manager informed the officers that a "thief" entered the store at 7:40 a.m., removed soaps, cosmetics, and toilet paper, and placed them in a backpack. The defendant then exited the store without paying for the merchandise.
The value of the stolen items was approximately $178.
Two days after another complaint of theft at the same Walgreens location, officers were called again. This time, the defendant was accused of stealing razors, lotions, and other cosmetic items and placing them into two bags. The stolen merchandise was valued at $435.
On Sept. 25, a video from a surveillance camera reveals the same suspect stealing "107 cleaning and household items worth $889.63 in a black garbage bag" at the same Walgreens store, as stated in the complaint.
The defendant allegedly returned to the store, went to the soda cooler, picked up a 20 oz. soda, and exited Walgreens without paying for it.
Court records show Dzwonkowski was scheduled to make his initial appearance this week.
