A man from Massachusetts disappeared during a family vacation in South Carolina, leaving his loved ones worried.
Since August 16, a Massachusetts man named Stanley Kotowski has been missing in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The BCSO on Thursday stated that the search for Stanley Kotowski, a 60-year-old man from Methuen, Massachusetts, continues, as he was last seen leaving S. Sea Pines Drive at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 16.
"Stan's wife Jackie shared on Facebook that he has been dealing with severe insomnia and increasing anxiety over the past month. During the week of Aug. 19, Stan became paranoid, believing that people, including authorities, were chasing him."
Kotowski was anxious about the ocean because of exposure to the sun, jellyfish, and sharks.
According to the sheriff's office, when Kotowski left the area, he was wearing a Coors Light shirt, dark gray shorts, and had no shoes on.
Kotowski's family is requesting Hilton Head-area residents to contact authorities and examine their security camera footage for any possible sightings of the missing man. Additionally, they are asking home and business owners to search sheds, pools, or other concealed areas for any indications of Kotowski.
"If you encounter someone who looks like Stan, please take a picture, contact BCSO, and keep him in your sights. If you speak to him, calmly inform him that he is safe and that his wife and sons are still here, looking for him."
The sheriff's office has been very supportive and is actively searching for Stan, conducting both land and water searches to bring him home.
On Aug. 16, locals reportedly spotted Kotowski at The Salty Dog restaurant. Authorities have requested footage from the establishment. According to his wife's Facebook post, video footage from the business shows Kotowski sauntering just before 10 a.m.
The search for Kotowski involves both the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Coast Guard, according to his family.
Kotowski stands at 6 ft. tall and weighs approximately 200 lbs. He has a strong Boston accent and may have facial hair.
