A Long Island man is being sought by police after being accused of fatally stabbing his father.
It is uncertain what caused Andrew Zoll, 23, to be accused of stabbing his father to death, according to authorities.
A manhunt is currently in progress for a 23-year-old man from Long Island who is accused of murdering his father on Saturday morning.
The Rocky Point home of Joseph Zoll, who was allegedly stabbed to death by his son Matthew Zoll, is being searched by the Suffolk County Police Department.
A stabbing incident occurred at a home in New York, prompting officers to be called at 1:25 a.m., according to the New York Post.
Matthew Zoll is a white male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, according to the police description.
Matthew Zoll, who bears a small scar under his left eye, is not suspected to possess a vehicle, according to authorities.
Police have not revealed a motive in the killing.
