A Honduran gang member who is an illegal immigrant kidnapped a US woman and 'giggled' after threatening to sell her organs, according to a report.
On Christmas Eve, a 35-year-old man named Eduardo Javier Ordonez Godoy was accused of kidnapping a Texas woman at gunpoint, compelling her to withdraw money from an ATM, and tying her to a tree.
A Honduran gang member "laughed" and "smirked" as he admitted to kidnapping a young Texas woman at gunpoint and threatening to sell her into prostitution and remove her organs on Christmas Eve, according to police.
Eduardo Javier Ordonez Godoy, 35, is accused of forcing a 22-year-old Haltom City woman into the back seat of her car at gunpoint as she was leaving for work around 4:45 a.m. on Christmas Eve. After making her withdraw cash from an ATM, he drove her 22 miles away to the town of Grapevine, according to charging documents obtained by Fox 4 News.
According to Haltom City Police Sergeant Rick Alexander, there are allegations that Godoy bound his victim to a tree using her shoelaces and threatened to either prostitute her or sell her organs.
According to the department, the woman managed to flee and sought assistance from a nearby resident, and she was not injured during the abduction.
In Oklahoma City, police found the stolen car and arrested Godoy less than 24 hours after the Haltom City Police reported the victim's car missing.
The woman was left fearing for her life after Godoy's attack, according to Haltom City police.
Alexander told Fox 4 that he smirked a lot, giggled, and was almost proud of what he did.
"He allegedly stole money and brought a firearm into the situation."
The New York Post reported that Godoy, who was kidnapped on Christmas Eve, had previously committed similar crimes and was deported back to his home country, where he was associated with a violent gang.
In Oklahoma City, Godoy is accused of using a vehicle without permission, having stolen property, and possessing a firearm as an illegal alien, as stated in the charging documents.
In Haltom City, he is charged with two first-degree felonies for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.
Currently, Godoy is being held at Oklahoma County Detention Center due to his immigration status, according to police.
