A former Colorado apartment resident claims that Governor Polis would not survive more than five minutes against armed gangs.
In her interview, Romero stated that Polis wouldn't survive for five minutes on that property.
Cindy Romero, a former Aurora, Colorado apartment resident, fired back at Governor Jared Polis (D) on Friday after an armed migrant gang linked to Tren de Aragua took over her building. Romero moved out of her apartment on Wednesday after video evidence showed the gang taking over her building. On Thursday, Polis told the New York Post through spokeswoman Shelby Wieman that the state is ready to support the local police department with assistance from state troopers and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation if needed. However, Wieman added that the purported invasion is largely a feature of Danielle Jurinsky's imagination. Romero responded to Gov. Polis by saying, "You can't fake video and Polis wouldn't last five minutes on that property."
The mayor of Aurora, Mike Coffman, believes that the situation with the armed Venezuelan gang in the apartment building needs to be put into context. He stated that while the video of the gang is concerning, it is important to understand the larger picture. The mayor also shared that the police have been working to address the issue and that there have been efforts to improve the situation.
The video on X has garnered over 75,000 views, and in the past two years, over 40,000 illegal migrants have come to Colorado, with most residing in Denver, a sanctuary city. Colorado Governor Jared Polis (D) did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment.
