A 103-year-old woman's apartment was invaded by a deer that was caught on camera 'thrashing around' before escaping through the glass door.
After the wild incident, the resident was transported to a nearby hospital with non-severe injuries.
An elderly woman living in an assisted living facility in Michigan was injured this week when a deer crashed through her bedroom window while she was sleeping.
Video footage from a body camera reveals two police officers smashing the glass on a resident's patio door on Monday night in order to let a "thrashing" buck escape back into the woods after an incident.
The Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety officers were called to the resident's home after Arbor North Living facility staff reported a deer had entered their apartment and they were unable to check on the resident.
From the hallway door of the apartment, officers Luke Bradley and Ryan Martin initially spotted the deer in the living room near the patio doors and observed blood stains, suggesting it had been struggling to break free.
The buck is seen moving around in the living room and looking out the patio window before charging at it full force in the officer's video.
The buck escapes into the woods after the officer breaks the glass with his baton.
The resident, who was conscious and alert, was found by the officers and rushed to the emergency room with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety.
The officers weren’t able to locate the deer.
