2024 Presidential Candidates Draw Criticism from DNC Chicago Protesters
Protesters at the DNC stated that they do not support Vice President Kamala Harris or ex-President Donald Trump.
Demonstrators outside Chicago's United Center during the DNC on Wednesday afternoon said they are not yet ready to support Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.
"One demonstrator, Enno, told Planet Chronicle Digital that they don't believe in the "good vibes" strategies of fixing a broken economic system."
Other voters attended the rally, hoping to be educated.
"Hiram Garcia, a demonstrator, stated, "I am deeply committed to gaining more knowledge about this election. To achieve this, I decided to physically attend the DNC and observe it closely.""
Kim Gaspar, a demonstrator, informed Planet Chronicle Digital that she wouldn't be casting her vote in November.
"Neither Genocide Joe nor Donald Trump is someone I could vote for, absolutely," she stated.
Newman Abuissa, a delegate from Iowa, stated that he voted "present" during the selection of a presidential candidate.
He stated that he aims to close the divide between the Democratic Party's leadership and its base, but he won't pledge to back Harris until a ceasefire agreement is reached between Israel and Hamas.
