On Sunday night, the Cincinnati Bengals were defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs when Harrison Butker hit a 51-yard field goal.

The 26-25 victory of the Chiefs over the Butker's kick was the result of a hard-fought game, and it moved Kansas City to a 2-0 record to begin the season.

The Bengals were able to stop the Chiefs' final drive with a pass interference penalty call.

The field goal was within range for Butker after Kansas City gained an additional set of downs.

Mahomes had a subpar game, completing 18 out of 25 passes for 151 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions, one of which was caught by Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt, who made a remarkable play to make the turnover.

In the next drive, Joe Burrow of the Bengals fumbled the ball, which was picked up by Chamarri Conner and returned for a touchdown. This touchdown put the Chiefs in a 23-22 lead.

The Bengals' eight-play, 33-yard drive was led by Burrow, but it may have ended differently if Ja'Marr Chase hadn't received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for his interaction with a referee.

Tight end Mike Gesicki had seven catches for 91 yards, while Chase had four catches for 35 yards. Burrow was 23-of-36 with 258 passing yards and two touchdown passes.

Cincinnati has lost two consecutive games to start the season, falling to 0-2.
