Trump claims that the Biden-Harris administration's "rhetoric" is responsible for the latest assassination attempt and vows to "save the country."
Trump stated that Democrats pose the greatest danger to democracy.
President Trump claimed that the "rhetoric" of President Biden and Vice President Harris is causing him to be "shot at," stating that the suspected gunman acted on the "highly inflammatory language" of Democrats, in an exclusive interview with Planet Chronicle Digital.
On Monday morning, Trump exclusively spoke with Planet Chronicle Digital, just a day after he was rushed off the golf course at Trump International in West Palm Beach, Fla., following the discovery of a gunman in the bushes by the Secret Service.
Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspected gunman, was armed with an AK-47 style rifle, a go-pro camera, and two backpacks. He fled the scene but was later pulled over and arrested on I-95.
Authorities are treating the episode as an apparent assassination attempt against Trump.
Trump was safe following the second assassination attempt against him since July.
"Trump stated in an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital that the gunman believed the rhetoric of Biden and Harris, and acted on it. He added, "Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I am the one who is going to save the country, and they are the ones that are destroying the country — both from the inside and out.""
Biden and Harris were labeled as "threats to democracy" by Trump, despite his claims that they are leaders promoting "unity."
"Trump stated, "They are the opposite. These are individuals who wish to destroy our nation.""
The real threat are those referred to as the enemy from within.
Officials conducted a background check on Ryan Wesley Routh and discovered that he resides in Hawaii and has a history of run-ins with law enforcement dating back to the 1990s.
Routh previously mirrored Biden and Harris' anti-Trump remarks, stating on social media that "Democracy is at stake" and that Democrats "cannot afford to lose."
Routh posted about politics often and donated to only Democrat candidates and causes.
"Trump stated, "Dangerous fools, like the shooter, listen to the rhetoric and lawsuits that wrap me up.""
Trump has been accused by Democrats of being a "threat to democracy" due to his handling of the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol, and they have repeatedly blamed him for raising the temperature.
The White House, Harris' campaign, and Walz's office did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's requests for comment.
Trump stated that Biden and Harris' policies are "destroying" the country "by allowing millions of very dangerous migrants to pour into it and destroying our country and cities."
Trump stated, "We are weak and feeble on the outside and no longer respected by the world."
Trump criticized the media after the debate with Harris last week.
"Trump stated that the media is comprised of individuals who will spread false information and promote the Democrats' twisted ideologies, while also shielding them from criticism, and they are astonished that they can get away with it."
The debate on ABC News last week was excessively biased and uncontrolled, according to Trump.
""She was correcting me about Project 2025, abortion, and everything," Trump said."
"I was taken aback by David Muir's behavior. Although I had previously regarded him as a trustworthy individual, I now realize he is just another low-quality person like the rest of them."
Trump cautioned Democrats about their language with only 50 days left until the election.
"He stated that they use highly inflammatory language. He added, "I can use it too, but I choose not to because I believe I can do it better.""
