Reports indicate that Ryan Routh, the alleged gunman who shot and killed President Donald Trump, has a history of advocating for Ukraine.
Ryan Routh discussed his role in Ukraine during multiple media appearances.
According to several news reports, the arrested gunman at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, has a history of advocating for Ukraine.
Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was arrested on Sunday for allegedly pushing an assault rifle's muzzle through a chain-link fence near former President Donald Trump's golf course, where the former president was playing the fifth hole. Despite this not being the first time Routh has been identified.
"According to Routh, the conflict at hand is distinct from other conflicts because it is a clear-cut battle between good and evil. He likens the situation to a classic movie plot where the protagonist must fight against an evil force."
Routh, who is known for his pro-Ukraine advocacy, reportedly boasted about his involvement in the war on social media and wrote a 291-page book about it, which is still available on Amazon.
"I understand that it is crucial for the world that Ukraine wins, despite the fact that they will not do so on the current path. This book is essential for us to recognize that losing is not an option and to understand what we must do to win. I wrote this not to make any money, but to openly discuss the major issues facing Ukraine and what each of us can do to address them."
Routh's X account frequently posted about being ready to fly to Ukraine to fight Putin.
The Routh account on Feb. 17, 2022, stated that they were flying to Ukraine to fight and that a media campaign was necessary to encourage people worldwide to join in the fight. They also emphasized the need for hundreds of thousands of civilians to increase the cost of war for Putin and flood the area with fighters.
In April, the X account announced that Routh was in Kyiv, declaring his intention to fight for Ukraine.
According to the X post, the speaker is in Kyiv and intends to establish a tent city in Independence Park to attract more foreign civilians to support Ukraine.
Trump has stated that if elected, he would resolve the Ukraine-Russia conflict in 24 hours. During the ABC debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump did not explicitly state that he wanted Ukraine to win the war. Instead, he said, "Just get it done. Negotiate a deal."
