Rep. Michelle Steel receives Trump's endorsement as a 'Tremendous Champion'.
Derek Tran, Steel's Democratic opponent, was labeled a "Radical Left Puppet of Communist China" by Trump.
On Saturday, Rep. Michelle Steel in California's 45th Congressional District was endorsed by former President Donald Trump, who described her as one of the country's "strongest Congresswomen."
Michelle Steel has my complete and total endorsement - she will not let you down!
"Michelle, an America First Patriot with a family that bravely fled Communism, brings that same fighting spirit to Congress and will never back down against the Communists, Marxists, and Socialists on the Radical Left," Trump stated.
Born in South Korea but raised in Japan, Steel is an immigrant to the U.S. according to her congressional website.
Her parents, who had fled North Korea during the Korean War, built a life in South Korea before eventually moving to Japan.
The Orange County Board of Supervisors chair has been serving in the House of Representatives since 2021.
Michelle is working diligently to restore the American Dream, strengthen the economy, secure the border, support our military and veterans, and safeguard the Second Amendment. During her tenure, Michelle collaborated with us to achieve the lowest unemployment rate ever for Vietnamese Americans and all Americans, as stated in Trump's endorsement post.
He praised her as a "Tremendous Champion" in her district but criticized her Democratic opponent, Derek Tran.

Michelle is a strong Congresswoman, while her opponent, Derek Tran, is a weak radical leftist who prioritizes the interests of Communist China over the safety and well-being of the country. Michelle, on the other hand, will always prioritize the interests of California and America first.
