Elon Musk refers to himself as the "George Soros of the middle."

Elon Musk, a business tycoon who backed President-elect Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential election, has characterized himself as the "George Soros" of the middle.

A well-known liberal political donor, Soros, is recognized for funding left-wing politicians and causes.

An online video depicts Musk raising his hand in response to a query about the location of a "right-wing George Soros."

The speaker, not visible on camera, thanked Musk and expressed gratitude.

In a post on his social media platform X, Musk stated that he is "George Soros of the middle" and believes that the pendulum should not swing too far right, but it is currently too far left.

Musk has previously claimed that Soros "hates humanity."

"Soros' political arbitrage strategy involved spending small amounts of money in many obscure races, which proved more effective than investing in major contests, according to Musk's tweet last year. However, people often misunderstand Soros' motives, assuming he did it for the greater good, when in reality, he despises humanity."

Last year, Musk stated that the Soros organization aims to bring about the end of western civilization.

Trump appointed Musk and Ramaswamy, who backed Trump and dropped his presidential bid in January, to lead an effort to identify government waste.

Trump announced the establishment of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which aims to offer advice and guidance from outside the government and collaborate with the White House and Office of Management & Budget to drive significant structural reforms and adopt an entrepreneurial approach to government operations.

In a post on X, Musk blamed inflation on massive government spending.

The magnate emphasized that inflation is caused by government spending, which is essentially taxation. This concept is crucial to understand, as it can be direct, such as income tax, or indirect, through inflation due to increasing the money supply.

Trump praised Musk and thanked him for his support.

"Elon Musk is a highly intelligent individual with a unique personality, and his strong endorsement meant a lot to me and MAGA," Trump stated on Truth Social.

"Trump is currently at a Mar-a-Lago concert, where the crowd adores him. He thanked Elon Musk for helping him win the "most consequential election in 129 years," particularly his efforts in Pennsylvania. Trump emphasized that this achievement will never be forgotten and encouraged his followers to "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!""
