Jack Smith, special counsel, is requesting an appeals court to pause his legal challenge against President-elect Trump over the alleged mismanagement of confidential and top-secret documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
Smith did the same in the D.C. election interference case last week.
After Planet Chronicle confirmed it, Smith announced his resignation before Trump's inauguration.
