An Arizona-based group is under investigation by a Pennsylvania prosecutor for potentially fraudulent voter registration and mail-in ballot applications.

Monroe County District Attorney Mike Mancuso stated that the county's board of elections officials discovered the registration forms and separated them for further investigation.

According to Mancuso, some of the forms were submitted by "Field and Media Corps," a subsidiary of Fieldcorp, an Arizona-based organization operating in Lancaster County.

He stated that the broader investigation is ongoing, taking into account Fieldcorp's role.

Mancuso advised residents to stay calm, stating that his office is frequently communicating and collaborating with investigators from the Attorney General's Office and other parties.

He stated that an update would be provided in the near future.

Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment from Monroe County was not immediately responded to.

Officials stated that the 2,500 forms with suspicious information contained either false names, duplicate handwriting, or unverifiable or incorrect identifying information. This led county election officials to notify the Pennsylvania Department of State and the state attorney general's office to launch a criminal investigation.

The applications were not limited to one party and were gathered in different locations throughout the county.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry issued a press release late Thursday, assuring voters in the Keystone State that her office has been collaborating with respective counties to investigate any organizations responsible for submitting fraudulent ballots.

"Henry stated that although we will not reveal confidential details about the investigations, we want to make it clear that the investigations are focused on voter registration forms, not ballots. These efforts have been hindered by the security measures in place in Pennsylvania. We are constantly collaborating with our partners to guarantee a fair, free, and secure election."

Under the law, offenders who committed fraud will be held accountable, as the investigations are ongoing.
