Wyoming's patriotism and Americana impress Jillian Michaels, who moved from California.
In 2021, the host of the 'Keeping It Real' podcast relocated from Los Angeles with her spouse and offspring.
Wyoming has given Jillian Michaels a newfound love for "patriotism and Americana," as she has discovered in her new home state after leaving California.
In June 2021, the 50-year-old fitness guru and her family, including her wife and two children, relocated from Los Angeles to Miami.
In a recent interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Michaels revealed that she and Minuto were currently working on rebuilding a home in Wyoming. The wellness expert disclosed that her family and she plan to spend most of their time in the Cowboy State, explaining what drew them to the state.
""The people are so lovely and cool, and there's something about the Americana peace," she said."
Although our country has its imperfections, I believe it's a great place to reside. Despite its flaws, I would still choose to live here. In my opinion, we have lost our democratic values and have become an oligarchy.
"I could list the things that concern me," Michaels stated. "Nevertheless, I am grateful to be here. The ability to identify issues highlights the country's strengths, and I am thankful to those who have served. As a result, I can discuss the areas that need improvement."
"Wyoming embodies patriotism and Americana, which I adore. As an avid outdoors enthusiast, I enjoy horseback riding and hiking in nature."
Jillian Michaels expresses her fondness for "patriotism and Americana" in Wyoming following her departure from California.
"The Biggest Loser" alum revealed to Planet Chronicle Digital that she and her family will also have a home in Florida where they can escape Wyoming's cold weather during the winter months.
"Michaels stated that he loves Miami and plans to maintain a small residence there, primarily to escape the nine-month winter season."
""My neighbor in Wyoming has a Northern Inuit dog like Ghost, Jon Snow's dog," she joked, implying that it would be like 'Game of Thrones.'"
"I thought I saw a wolf in my yard, so I called my son and exclaimed, 'Phoenix, there's a wolf in the yard!' It turned out to be my neighbor's dog," Michaels chuckled.
"The combination is ideal for me because it allows me to escape the heat of winter while also enjoying some warmth during the colder months. This makes it a perfect blend of the best of both worlds."
Another reason Michaels chose to reside in Wyoming was its proximity to her hometown of Los Angeles.
""Although we enjoy being out West, it's closer to LA, and I still have family there," she said."
Michaels, a media personality, gained viral fame this summer on "The Sage Steele Show" when she shared her reasons for leaving California, stating that it had become too chaotic for her.
"I grew up here and am a woman. I am a gay woman. My mother is Jewish and my father is Arab. I have a Black child and my son is half Latin, despite not appearing so. I hold a million cards in your game of woke victimology poker. When I leave California, you may have lost your mind. Just maybe! Like when you have me running from home, it may have gone too far."
California's progressive policies have been criticized by Michaels for contributing to an increase in crime and exacerbating the state's homelessness problem.
In her interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Michaels explained why she believes her problems with LA are not related to politics.
"She stated that she doesn't consider them as right or left issues, but rather nonpartisan issues. Crime affects everyone, and we should be concerned about the homelessness crisis. It's not about being right or left; it's about helping these people. Saying, 'Yeah, whatever. Tent camps on the street. Go for it,' is not the solution."
Michaels stated, "Obviously, there are more complex issues at play with these individuals, such as addiction and mental health problems. Although I am not an expert, I have spoken with an expert on my podcast about a better approach. It is not beneficial for homeless people or the city."
""I disagree with the laws that have been passed to protect our children, including one that allows 24-year-old men to have sex with 14-year-olds without registering as a sex offender," she stated."
Jillian Michaels explains that her issues with LA are not related to any political party: "Crime affects everyone."
In 2020, California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed into law SB 145, which eliminated the need for adults who committed certain sex acts with minors within a 10-year age difference to register as sex offenders.
"I tried to ignore it, but it was so distressing. It was related to LGBTQ rights," Michaels stated. "And I thought if a 24-year-old man touched my 14-year-old child, as I had told Sage Steele, 'You don't go after them. I'll go after them myself.'"
"That's not a good thing," she said with a laugh. "That's a bad idea. I don't need to become a vigilante. I just want to find a place where the world feels more peaceful. People are getting along better."
Bill Maher's Club Random recently partnered with Michaels to expand her "Keeping It Real" podcast to video.
The "Keeping It Real" podcast's new video format includes a diverse range of guests and explores challenging topics to enhance our self-awareness and understanding of the world.
During her interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Michaels discussed the transformation of her podcast since its inception in 2011.
""Keeping It Real" was initially an audio-only program that focused solely on fitness and nutrition, according to Michaels."
She continued, "As the conversation progressed, I interviewed various doctors and Ph.D.s."
Michaels remembered that she collaborated with Maher to create her video podcast following her appearance on his HBO show "Real Time With Bill Maher" and subsequent guest spot on his "Club Random with Bill Maher" podcast.
We had heated discussions about various wellness topics, including medicine, vaccines, pharmaceutical companies, and big food lobbyists, with investigative journalists, Ph.D.s, and MDs.
Bill stated, "The reality is that there is a certain amount of medical McCarthyism going on. Pharma cartels aggressively target doctors, and some of it is being censored on social media. As a result, the truth is having a difficult time coming to light. Even if you're wrong, you can't explore the dialogue or your hypothesis is incorrect."
Michaels revealed that Maher had discussed with her the possibility of creating a video format for "Keeping It Real."
Jillian Michaels and Bill Maher have teamed up for a video podcast called "Keeping It Real," where they tackle difficult topics.
Bill, who is a truth seeker and strongly against cancel culture, stated, "I want to empower you to engage in conversations with the most credible and capable individuals, while remaining immune to cancellation," she remembered.
""My partnership with Bill was the result of a journey," Michaels said."
