Sting has postponed multiple concerts due to a temporary throat infection.
The veteran musician's team announced the postponement on social media on Tuesday, along with rescheduling information.
Sting has been advised by his doctor to cancel his appearance at the Bass Magazine Awards on Thursday due to illness. As a result, he has postponed his STING 3.0 concerts in Phoenix, AZ (originally scheduled for January 24) to June 1 and Wheatland, CA (originally scheduled for January 26) to May 28, as well as his performance at the Cherrytree Music Company’s 20th anniversary, now taking place May 29.
"Sting apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks fans for their understanding. They should keep their tickets for the postponed shows, which will be honored on the new dates."
On Wednesday, Sting expressed gratitude to his fans for their worry and provided additional information about his health.
"Sting expressed gratitude for the well wishes on Instagram, stating that he is recovering from a temporary throat infection that has hindered his singing abilities. Despite this setback, he is optimistic about resuming his performances and rescheduling shows in the near future. Love, Sting."

In October 2018, Sting canceled a joint concert with Jamaican singer Shaggy just an hour before the show was supposed to begin in San Francisco due to health reasons. Sting issued a statement at the time that read: "I’m sorry to have to postpone tonight’s show…but I can barely speak right now. We will reschedule as soon as possible."
