After facing criticism for her lingerie-inspired outfit at President Donald Trump's inauguration, Lauren Sanchez changed her attire dramatically.

At the Inauguration Ball, the fiancée of Jeff Bezos, the chairman of Amazon, opted for a more modest ensemble after wearing a racy look to the historic political event.

Sanchez, 55, turned heads in a flowing golden-peach colored Dolce & Gabbana gown that featured a satin corset. The former journalist's elegant dress had soft tulle sleeves that draped over her shoulders. She completed her look with dangling chandelier pearl earrings and had her hair styled in soft curls.

Sanchez's make-up featured her signature smoky eye shadow and glossed nude lips, as she shared behind-the-scenes photos of her posing for the camera. In her Instagram caption, she wrote "Starlight Ball" with a shooting star emoji.

At the inauguration, her ethereal gown received praise from fans, with comments such as "You look absolutely stunning."

Sanchez responded to criticism about her inauguration outfit by "liking" supportive comments on her latest social media post.

"That inaugural look you ate, don't pay attention to haters," one positive comment read that she liked.

Another woman wrote on social media that Sanchez is an inspiration to her and likely to many others.

However, others continued to make comments about her previous daring outfit.

The inauguration was a massive failure, and the outfit looked trashy. I think Lauren usually has more class.

On Monday, the author of children's books wore a white pantsuit with a fitted blazer and wide-leg trousers to Trump's inauguration, featuring a dangerously low-cut V-neck.

Instead of a traditional blouse, she wore a white lace bustier. She accessorized with a fuzzy coat for the frosty day. Sanchez's hair was styled in a sleek updo.

Reports indicate that Sanchez's eye-catching outfit costs at least $1,800.

The billionaire beau, dressed in a suit with an oxblood-hued tie, accompanied the pilot.

Many quickly took to social media to slam her appearance.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook and Meta, was criticized on social media for a different reason than Sanchez. During the inauguration, viewers noticed that he appeared to glance at her chest.

"Zuckerberg was out of control ogling Jeff Bezos' fiancée!" one user wrote, while another commented, "This is the most normal thing I have ever seen Zuckerberg do."

On Monday, Trump was inaugurated as the 47th president, pledging to bring about a "revolution of common sense" while restructuring the nation's institutions.

In May 2023, after five years of dating, Bezos proposed to Sanchez. Although they haven't publicly announced any wedding details, Sanchez revealed on the "Today" show that she was already preparing for the big day.
